C.M.C.M.A.

  The Cheshire Motor Cycle Marshals Association was founded in 1978 by 4 members of Cheshire Centre Clubs in various disciplines in response to concerns about the standard of marshals at events, as until then no training was given to marshals other than a few minutes before an event.

In order to address these issues the C.M.C.M.A. was founded, believed to be the first organisation to train Marshals in the UK if not the world! Our training formed the basis of the ACU’s Marshals training program

Today we train Marshal’s for events at Oulton Park, The Anglesey Circuit, Tonfanau, Aintree (in collaboration with Marshals North West) our Members also Marshal at events the length and breadth of the Country at Road Race, Motocross and other events, last year I marshalled or was an official at meetings at Oulton, Aintree, Aberdare, Three sisters and at Hawkstone Park (motocross )

In the closed season we hold Training events   and social events including a Marshals Evening and a Riders versus Marshals Quiz.

Interested? Why not join us ! You don’t need to be local some of our Marshals regularly travel over 100 miles to Marshal at events !
