I hope you like the new web site look thought it overdue for a change, still got a few things to sort but if you have any comment or suggestions or having problems viewing it let me know via the email address below.
The dates seem to be finalised and I have done a spreadsheet which as usual a work in progress and is probably full of mistakes! A different format this year with two sheets for those of you with Excel if you prefer the old format let me know.
The number of meetings does seem about the same as last year but at the moment no New Era meetings at Oulton or Anglesey.
This year promises to be a good year on the world stage for the UK even though there is no British riders in MotoGP the SBK has Toesland, Crutchlow, Camier and of Course Jonathan Rea , Leon Haslam and Tom Sykes and as I type this the first round was good for UK riders with Leon Haslam in particular with a 1st and a 2nd it was so close to two wins as well, BSB has the return of former champion Kiyonari but unfortunately the GSE Yamaha last years champions have gone due to loss of sponsors Airwaves.
Locally we have a full year at Oulton, the Wirral 100 has two meetings, BEMSEE, North Glouster, Hottrax, Thundersport and Derby Phoenix and of course two BSB's including the final round again, over on Anglesey we have twelve meetings thw Wirral 100 with 4, Hottrax and Derby Phoenix with 2 each, My own club with a round of the Irish Superbike Championship, and the CRMC, North Glouscter and Thundersport GB with 1meeting each. Down in mid Wales the Crewe Club has it's championship running over 4 rounds again and we have Aintree (at Aintree of course)and Preston Club at Three Sisters no no shortage of meetings so if anyone needs any contact details for any of these events email me through the address below as these clubs are always looking for marshals.
